Effects of estrogen ; facial feminization thru fat deposition on cheeks, jaw line and other areas to controur face and make it appear more feminine, softer skin, tighter pores, whiter skin/complexion, moodswing, decreased libido, fat redistribution to breasts hips thighs lower belly and other areas tp countour body and make it more feminine, decreases risk of male pattern baldness and osteoporosis.
Proesterone effects ; no study yet to claim effects but is believed to aid in breast and hip augmentation by routing fat deposition to those areas. Promotes softer and smoother skin. Increases effect and potency of estrogens.
adverse effect includes depression, moodswing and changes in blood fats causing weight gain
Anti androgen effects ; blocks effects of male hormones and reduces their production inghe body drastically thus aiding the effectivity and contributing in potency of estrogen and progesterone. Promotes softer and smoother skin. Makes muscles less bulky and feminizes them. Decreases libido drastically, makes body hair and leg hair thinner (with plucking or waxing of course) new hair will be thinner . ( facial hair is unaffected though but will grow in slower rate compared before) . bone structure not affected ( such as hands and feet size or shoulder width)
Lady and micro pills po ay hindi anti androgen. They are just combined contraceptives meaning they Contain both estrogen and progesterone
Combined hormones ;
Combined Hormones :
lady contains ethinyl estradiol (synthetic estrogen) and levonorgestrel (progesterone) .
micro pills contains ethinyl estradiol (estrogen) and norethisterone (progesterone) ..

marvelon : desogestrel (progesterone ) and ethinyl estradiol (estrogen)
Pills that contain anti androgen are dianne and althea.
Same formula ethinyl estradiol (estrogen) and cyproterone acetate (anti androgen) .

Proluton (hydroxyprogesterone)
Depotrust (medroxyprogesterone acetate)
Depoprovera (medroxyprogesterone) - has also weak anti androgenic effects.

Androcur is pure anti androgen dahil cyproterone acetate lang ang content nya.
Note:
When taking andocur, never ever drink alcohol kase this drug is associated with liver damage kaya banned sa u.s.
Bawal sa mga patients na may liver damage before or currently. Bawal din sa may prostate cancer before na gumaling or any other type of cancer as it might predispose you again of cancer. And.more water as well.
this medication is commonly prescribed in european countries and u.k. for anti androgenic effect. sakanila , spiro naman ang di nirerecommend .
liver toxicity or liver damage is dose dependent. 100-150mg daily androcur might predispose you to hepatotoxicity. 50mg daily is well tolerated but to be safe, half tab lang po ang pag take daily.
Aldactone (spironolactone) is originally indicated for patients na may edema , hypertension, hypokalemia at diseases related to edema like pulmonary edema, congestive heart failure and more. Has anti androgenic effect if taken on higher dose (100mg - 200mg up to 400 ) mg ..
Note:
When taking aldactone, bawal ang potassium rich foods such as banana and orange and so on kase this drug is potassium sparing diuretic. It means pampaihi sya pero nireretain nya ang potassium sa katawan. If you eat.more potassium rich food while taking this drug, tendency is abnormally high level of potassium or hyperkalemia. A condition which is deadly. Symptoms are.muscle twitching, abnormal reflex, abnormal heart beat and worse death due to heart attack. Kaya ingat po. Also more water to prevent dehydration. Bawal.magtake din ang may hypo tension o low blood. Kase this is for hypertension kaya pabababain nya ang bp mo. Kaya be informed.
Drink more more water as iihi ka ng iihi sa gamot na ito 4-5times.or higher dailym kaya more water para iwas tuyot.
be mindful of your electrolyte leves. dahil nga iihi ka ng iihi, possible at risk sa low sodium blood levels or hyponatremia. signs are slurred speech, disorientation and so on.
this drug is also heavy on the liver so take good care of your liver din. claimed to be tolerated for prolonged use

>>>> it is adviseabel to take calcium supplement and vitamin while on hrt. why? vit d is responsible for letting calcium go and deposit into the bones. it's like calcium gate pass, without vit d, calcium deposition will be lesser. as we all know, hrt can result in bone density loss especially AAs (anti androgens) . other vitamins shud not interfere with hrt and hrt effects as well. no direct relationship between vitamins and increased feminization for those on hrt. vitamins are just supplements po. not cure or anything. be advised of regular dose for vitamins den.
Better if you take milk nalang like bear brand kase it's cheap but it has all essential vitamins na makakatulong sa health naten while on hrt

A HEALTHY ADVISE EVERYONE: wag po tayo mag cocktail ng different estrogens at ganun din sa AAs. one type of estrogen and one type of anti androgen is good enough. the more types of estrogen and or anti androgen you take, the higher the risks for overdose and health related problems and yet, same beneficial effects lang yan whether you take two kinds of estrogen or isa lang. youre just going hard on your liver. think of this analogy pls. when you take multiple kinds of estrogen and or AAs, para kang umiinom ng potencee, centrum, fern c and other types of vitamin c ng sabay sabay. same effect dahil lahat vitamin c pero overdose ka na pala without knowing kase nagaaccumulate ang vit c sa every vit c na iniinom mo and will cause you calcium stones possibly and other side effects of hypercalcemia. hope gets nyo analogy ko. walang pumipigil sa inyo na magcombine. sa ngayun maybe maganda resulta sa inyo pero how about after 5-10 years and more? maganda ka nga, bed ridden ka naman . pls think about it
